David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

Arsenal's pursuit of Willian is at 'an advanced stage', according to reports in France.Chelsea have been desperate to keep the Brazilian at Stamford Bridge but have fallen flat with numerous efforts in recent months.Willian wanted a three-year deal to stay at the Blues, with bosses in west London only prepared to offer a one or two-year extension.France Football report Arsenal have offered the 31-year-old a three-year deal, however.But Willian is said to want the option of a further year extension to be added into his Emirates deal should he decide to switch London clubs.A source told France Football: "Things are very advanced."Willian has also been attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona and David Beckham's Miami Inter MLS.
