The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were warning people to be extra cautious at the weekend after the heatwave sparked wildfires in West Lothian.Fire crews were called in from stations locally and elsewhere to tackle the blazes that had broken out in Fauldhouse, Armadale and Bathgate.Firefighters from stations including Linlithgow, Bathgate, Dunblane and Larbert battled to bring the forest fires under control in soaring temperatures.SFRS bosses warned people to be extra cautious and a ‘very high’ alert for wildfires was in place across Scotland until Monday due to warm and dry weather.The warning was released in conjunction with the Scottish Wildfire Forum (SWF).Area Commander Bruce Farquharson, who is also chair of the SWF, said: “While
