evoke.ieOver the years since the Eurovision song contest has begun, Ireland has won a total of seven times, making it the country who has won the song competition the most.
However, the BBC has decided to hold a TV contest which will air tonight, where they show the best songs over the years and not a single Irish contestant made the cut.
The British broadcaster has now been accused of a ‘national insult’ to Ireland as it has chosen to leave Ireland out of the show in favour of rather unpopular songs by other countries.
And this the year, when it’s the 40th anniversary of What’s Another Year and 50 years since Dana sand All Kinds of Everything.
