Weki Meki have officially announced their formal disbandment after seven years together.The band’s label, Fantagio, announced the disbandment today (August 16) in a statement to South Korean news outlet Dispatch. The company wrote that Weki Meki was officially disbanded on August 8, coming two months after the girl group released their final single ‘CoinciDestiny’.Fantiagio has also revealed that five of eight Weki Meki members have chosen not to renew their contracts with the agency.

Fantagio Music has announced the creation of a new memorial space for the late Moonbin of K-pop boyband ASTRO.Over the weekend, the K-pop agency released a statement regarding a new long-term memorial space called “Moon’s Space” for the singer at Gukcheongsa Temple in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province.Moonbin was one of six founding members of ASTRO, along with MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon Sanha and ex-member Rocky.
