Dreamcatcher will not be joining promotions for the K-pop group’s upcoming album ‘VirtuouS’ amid health issues.Today (July 5), Dreamcatcher Company shared that the singer will be taking time off due to health issues. Yoon Sanha of K-pop boyband ASTRO will make his solo debut next month, his label Fantagio has confirmed.Today (July 5), Fantagio announced that ASTRO singer Yoon Sanha will be the next member of ASTRO to embark on a solo career. Fantagio Music has announced the creation of a new memorial space for the late Moonbin of K-pop boyband ASTRO.Over the weekend, the K-pop agency released a statement regarding a new long-term memorial space called “Moon’s Space” for the singer at Gukcheongsa Temple in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province.Moonbin was one of six founding members of ASTRO, along with MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon Sanha and ex-member Rocky. He was also the older brother of Moon Sua of the K-pop girl group Billlie.

Cha Eun-woo of K-pop boyband ASTRO has released a cover of 10cm’s ‘Stalker’ in tribute to late band member Moonbin.Cha Eun-woo released his new cover of 10cm’s ‘Stalker’ on his official YouTube channel at exactly 2:23am KST, a reference to ASTRO’s debut date of February 23, 2016.Prior to the cover’s release, the singer had also uploaded an archival clip to Instagram Stories of Moonbin performing ‘Stalker’ during a karaoke session. Singer Moon Bin of the K-Pop group Astro has died at 25. The musician was found dead in his Seoul, South Korea, home on Wednesday evening.  When efforts to communicate with the star were not returned, his manager reportedly found him at home.

ASTRO member Rocky is set to leave the K-pop boyband and their agency Fantagio Music following the expiration of his contract.The news was confirmed via Fantagio, as reported by Soompi. Fantagio wrote in its statement: “After a deep discussion with Rocky, who has been with us as a member of ASTRO for the past seven years, it has been decided that he will be ending both his exclusive contract with our agency and his activities as a member of ASTRO.”“ASTRO will continue on as a fiver-member group in the future, and together with Fantagio, the members will be focusing on unit and solo activities for the time being.

ASTRO members Moonbin and Sanha have tested positive for COVID-19, days before the release of their new mini-album.Yesterday (March 7), the duo’s label Fantagio Music took to the boyband’s official fan café website to announce that the two members, who also form the sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha, have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.According to the agency, Moonbin had experienced cold symptoms on March 6, despite testing negative on self-test kits. He took another test the following day due to persisting symptoms, later testing positive on both the self-test and PCR test.

ASTRO member MJ will be taking a hiatus from group activities due to health concerns.Fantagio, the singer’s label, announced in a statement last Friday (January 28) that MJ will be taking time off to “[focus] entirely on his recovery and treatment during his hiatus, and he plans to temporarily halt all activities until he recovers his health”.“During his recent promotions, ASTRO’s MJ noticed issues with his health, and so he went to the hospital for an in-depth checkup,” the label’s statement reads, as translated by Soompi.
