He had offered me some comments on the winter sales in London, and I was interested to learn the secret magic of his success, buying works by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Mark Bradford for millions and, presumably, selling them for more.
In addition to his gallery in London, he had just opened another in Miami with a show for Rudolf Stingel and the recently deceased Franz West, and was looking for some media exposure.
