It's a style that wouldn't have looked out of place on Farrah Fawcett. The technique used by Kate is what hairdressers and colourists call ‘face framing’, whereby the hair is cut or coloured in a particular way to draw attention to the eyes and cheekbones.
It’s an instant, youthful update on the hair if you don’t want to drastically cut the length.“The Duchess of Cambridge’s highlights have been finely weaved to make the colour appear lighter all over,” says the colourist Anita Rice.
