A manager at Versace’s Old Bond Street store agreed to do her a favour and loan her a dress, and the rest, as they say, is history.Emma Corrin wasn’t even born when Hurley wore her infamous safety pin dress, but the actress has been creating similarly powerful fashion moments since she shot to fame playing the young Princess Diana in season four of The Crown - none more so than on Thursday night, when she wore a completely sheer black evening gown for a friend’s birthday gathering.The dress, by British label KNWLS, had been intended for Corrin to wear while doing publicity for The Crown, but lockdown.
