The service for Prince Philip's funeral will be taking place today at St George’s Chapel, Windsor at 3pm with minimal "fuss", insisted from the Duke of Edinburgh himself before he passed.
As a Royal consort Prince Philip is entitled to a full state funeral, but will instead have a ceremonial funeral, which is in line with his wishes.
The plans for the Duke of Edinburgh's funerals have been in place for many years, under the code name Forth Bridge. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of the plans won't be able to go ahead.
