mirror.co.ukThe Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar, returned to Netflix on Friday when part A of Lucifer season five dropped on the streaming service.
Tom Ellis has played the title role since the show first aired on Fox in 2016. After Fox cancelled Lucifer after three seasons, a fan campaign to save it saw Netflix pick it up, releasing series four in May 2019.
Now, the first half of the fifth season is set to land, in which Ellis will not only play Lucifer, but also his twin brother Michael.
But what else has he been in? Tom Ellis' career Fans of Eastenders may well remember Ellis’ five-month stint in Walford as Dr Oliver Cousins, making his first appearance in January 2006 and lasting until May of that year.
