The 15-month wait for another season of Lucifer comes to an end this week when the fifth instalment lands on Netflix. The show revolves around Lucifer Morningstar - the Lord of Hell - who resigns from his throne to live in Los Angeles where he runs a club and acts as a consultant for the city’s police department.
Fox produced the first three seasons before cancelling it, leading to fans calling for it to be saved. Netflix stepped in and dropped the 10-episode season four in May 2019.
Now, they’re set to release part A of the fifth series. What time is Lucifer season five released? Netflix will release the first part of series five on Friday 21 August at 8am.
