It might not be Christmas just yet but preparations are already being made for one of the busiest times of the year. Supermarkets are beginning to reveal dates for their Christmas food launches and this year the anticipation is high, but it's not just because of the excitement for the festive season.
Food shortages have hit shelves in several stores across the UK following structural changes in the labour market and a shortage of lorry drivers.
It means supermarkets aren't getting as many deliveries as they used to, so when they sell out of a particular product it now takes longer for them to fill that gap on the shelf.
