Rishi Sunak will deliver his second Budget statement of the year this afternoon. The chancellor of the exchequer will address MPs in the House of Commons to outline his spending plans for the next financial year.
Mr Sunak will hail a “new age of optimism” in his Budget speech amid predictions that the economy has bounced back faster from the coronavirus pandemic than originally expected.
