Chancellor Rishi Sunak unveiled his Autumn Budget last Wednesday (27th October), announcing it as a plan for a “post-Covid” era.
Some of the main points included a minimum wage increase, alterations to Universal Credit and a host of changes to the way alcohol would be taxed.
There were also announcements for improved spending on public transport, as well as a controversial reform to air passenger duty that sees domestic flights get cheaper.
