Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

West Ham and Leicester are ready to make a move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to reports. The Gers may be forced into selling the Colombia international this summer to raise cash to help them out amid the coronavirus.

The 23-year-old has been a key player for Steven Gerrard this season, netting 29 goals in all competitions. And despite his disciplinary problems the forward would be a massive miss for the Ibrox club were he to leave.

But, according to The Sun, he is being eyed by Premier League sides Leicester and West Ham. Both teams are in the market for another striker and could try to tempt Rangers with a lower offer than he may be worth.
