Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Organisers at the Rutherglen and Cambuslang foodbank were delighted at the response, after we previously reported that numbers using the community resource had been steadily increasing in recent months.
Over 1,000 locals, including 593 youngsters, had been forced to use the foodbank according to their most recent stats.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
