‘We are so sorry’ Longitude cancelled for second year in a row

We have some sad news as Longitude has been officially cancelled. Despite hopefulness from the festival’s organisers that it would go ahead this summer, it has now been confirmed that the event will not be taking place in July.

A statement was shared on social media explaining that there was simply no way that they could ‘make Longitude happen this year’.

This is the second year in a row that the festival has been nixed. ‘Following the government’s most recent announcement it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make Longitude happen this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, and it is with great regret that we must announce that this year’s festival will not take place,’ they wrote in a statement. ⚡️
