Almost two months after A Million Little Things has its winter finale, ABC’s ensemble drama returned tonight with a midseason premiere. A significant part of it was dedicated to two developments set up in the finale, Rome’s new bout of depression and Maggie’s trip to Albany to face the mother of her former patient Justin who had committed suicide after developing feelings for her.

Alice Wu’s film “The Half of It” was set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. It had a prime spot on opening weekend and it was good to go for a theatrical release but then COVID-19 happened. Like all festivals, it was canceled, but Wu just rolled with the punches.

Netflix's tells the story of Ellie Chu ('s ), a shy, straight-A, friendless Chinese-American high school senior who makes extra cash by writing papers for her fellow classmates in the backwoods of the sleepy Washington town of Squahamish. When she reluctantly agrees to help football jock Paul Munsky () write love letters for his crush, school beauty Aster Flores (), the girl Ellie secretly crushes on, the unlikely trio embark on an unconventional triangle.

The new film The Half of It (Netflix) feels like few other teen movies. Set in the rural, socially conservative town of Squahamish, Washington, it doesn't show anyone shopping, or having sex, or using social media.

Fans of the new Netflix rom-com “The Half of It” are hoping the film actually is only half of the story.

The film The Half of It released its much-awaited trailer and we must say, the teen comedy-drama inspired by Edmond Rostand play called Cyrano de Bergerac, looks very promising. Netflix is taking some bold steps in making films with an LGBTQ backdrop. An Asian girl named Ellie Chu who writes essays for her classmates and is being made fun of due to her Asian roots, suddenly becomes a love guru for Paul Munsky played by Daniel Diemer. Leah Lewis as the not so visible girl from school Ellie Chu is very relatable who sticks to what suits her and does not try to fit into the community.
