A warrant has been issued for the arrest of F1 heiress Petra Ecclestone’s ex-husband James Stunt after he failed to turn up for a court appearance.
Gold dealer Stunt, 38, was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning accused of racially abusing a police officer.
The businessman faces one charge of racially or religiously aggravated harassment and another of using insulting, threatening, or abusive words or behaviour against PC Richard Harper.
The alleged offences took place near Stunt’s £3.9 million home in Knightsbridge, west London, in June last year. The court today heard how he had been summoned to court by postal requisition.
