Ryan Giggs has said he will plead not guilty to charges of assault and coercive control. The Crown Prosecution Service issued a statement confirming the charges after police were called to an incident at his home last year.
Wales have since announced the Giggs will not be involved in this summer's European Championships with Robert Page taking temporary charge.
The 47-year-old has said: "I have full respect for the due process of law and understand the seriousness of the allegations. "I will plead not guilty in court and look forward to clearing my name.
