Ryan Giggs charged with coercive control and assaulting two women

evoke.ieFormer Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has been charged with assaulting two women after an alleged incident in his home last year.
There is one charge of assault causing actual bodily harm against a woman in her 30s and the common assault of a woman in her 20s.
There is also an additional charge of coercive and controlling behaviour between December 2017 and November 2020. The charge follows an alleged incident involving both women in November where The Greater Manchester Police were called to the 47-year-old’s home.
A statement issued by a Crown Prosecution service reads: ‘We have authorised Greater Manchester police to charge Ryan Giggs with engaging in behaviour which was controlling or coercive and assault occasioning actual bodily
