Former Manchester United star and now Wales men's national team manager Mr Giggs, 47, has been charged with three offences following an incident in Salford last Autumn.
He has been charged with causing actual bodily harm to a woman in her 30s and common assault of a woman in her 20s Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said today.
Both counts relate to an incident on the evening of Sunday, November 1 when GMP say they were called to reports of a 'disturbance' at an address in Worsley.
