A village is becoming the "new Magaluf" according to horrified locals who say they have been abused in the street by drunken louts.
A litany of complaints have been made by fed-up residents of Woolton in Merseyside as four businesses face licensing reviews.
Locals say the businesses have played a key role in the disorder and crowds with the village turning into a "public toilet and a large beer garden", reports the Liverpool Echo.
Things got so bad at one stage in June that Merseyside Police issued a dispersal order for the area. Next week the village restaurants Crust, Dostana, Nowhere and Istanbul BBQ will all be hauled before the council's licensing committee and could be punished for their involvement in the scenes in the village in
