Rapper Vanilla Ice has called for director Steven Spielberg to make a movie about the famous missing racehorse Shergar. The American one-hit-wonder, who topped the charts with Ice, Ice Baby in 1990, was brought in to make the seven-part series because of his long-held fascination with horses.
The singer-turned property-developer - real name is Robert Van Winkle - has made an in-depth BBC podcast about the famous racehorse’s disappearance, describing it as the “most amazing story ever”.
Van Winkle says: “My fascination with horses is very deep, since I was a kid I’ve always been fascinated with just the look of a horse.
