Vanessa Feltz's cheating ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu has publicly reached out to her on her birthday in a bid to win her back.Ben Ofoedu revealed that he was devastated he hurt Vanessa, who dumped him when she realised that she had discovered he'd been having an affair with another woman, writes The Mirror.The TV presenter decided to call it quits on her 16 year relationship in January after discovering that Ben had cheated on her with several different women over a period of two decades.The Phats & Small singer took to his Instagram story to wish Vanessa a happy birthday, and show that he still has feelings for her.

As newly single Vanessa turned 61 today, remorseful Ben, 50, posted a picture of an extravagant cake with 'happy birthday' written around the base.

Earlier today, Vanessa opened up about spending her birthday as a single woman heartbreaking split.The ITV agony aunt admitted feeling 'battered and bruised' following the split after she found out about Ben's infidelity on Christmas Day, which saw her end their engagement.Vanessa previously said that she won't let it grind her down as it's not the first time she's been through a break-up.On This Morning, she said: "God's sake I am not alone and also I've been through it before, it's not like I'm a stranger to stuff I've already had a horrible divorce so it's quite a familiar feeling but I'm absolutely not going to let it grind me down."She added: "It was a terrible shock but also kind of a gradual thing, I think that's often the case - that it's a mixture of the two.

I don't want to dwell on anything or the details and I really do want to focus on the future and I want to focus on telling myself there is a future.
