Vanessa Feltz has opened up on how “life isn’t easy” following her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu. The TV star, 61, split from her long-term partner Ben, 50, earlier this month after he publicly admitted to cheating on her.

Opening up to her fans on how her life has been since the split, Vanessa took to Instagram for a candid conversation with a friend about the break-up.

While out for dinner with a friend, the star is asked: “Vanessa, you’re looking great but how do you really feel?” The presenter then replies: “Well, no one said it was going to be easy and I must say it isn’t easy actually, especially in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep and all of that. “But I’m keeping on, keeping on and I’ve got lots and lots of friends and family around me and I’m really loving that. “Everyday I suppose I hope it’s going to get a little bit easier but thank you for asking.” It comes as Ben said in an interview earlier this month that Vanessa, who he was with for 16 years, is the "queen of my heart," as he opened up on the split and apologised to Vanessa's family, as well as his own.The Phats and Small singer told The Mirror: “I’m sorry for all the pain caused to Vanessa, to her family, to mine.
