Vandals slash 30 car tyres in Edinburgh street in sick Christmas Day rampage

Christmas Day. Several vehicles were targeted in a rampage in the South Queensferry area of the capital while the residents slept in their beds.

It is believed thugs started off at Echline View before heading down to Echline Avenue, Stoneyflatts, Stewart Terrace, Station Road, Lawson Crescent and finishing off by bursting the tyres of the car sitting in the driveway of the local church's manse.

Pictures from the area show several cars with flat tyres after devastated locals woke up to the damage on Boxing Day.Police are now probing the incident.One resident said: "Just back in from following a route as my tyres have been slashed."There are 20-30 cars/vans all been done from Echline Avenue, onto Boness Rd, the full length of Stewart Terrace.
