Universal Credit, Personal Independent Payment (PIP) and Sate Pension will see their payments boosted from the start of the new tax year.Back in April 2020 benefits payments increased by 1.7% – the first rise in six years.In 2021 many benefit payments will rise again from the start of the new tax year, on April 6 2021.How much you will get depends on your individual circumstances, including age, whether you have a disability, if you have children, or if you are a carer.Keep in mind that it also doesn’t include the temporary £20 a week boost due to the coronavirus crisis.
