The UK is braced for a very wet weekend with amber and yellow weather warnings in place across the UK with fears some areas could flood.
An amber weather warning has been put in place in Wales from 8pm today and remains in effect until 6pm on Sunday. A yellow warning is also in place for South West England with Cornwall, Devon and Plymouth all affected and another is in place for Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian & Borders in Scotland.
A Met Office spokesman said: "A slow moving frontal system is expected to bring persistent and at times heavy rainfall to parts of Wales through Friday and much of Saturday. "35 to 70mm [approx 1 - 3 inches] of rainfall is expected widely within the warning area, with high ground and upslopes exposed to the south
