Brits will enjoy their first taste of Spring today as temperatures soar into the late-teens, the Met Office has said. Daily Star Online reported yesterday how a “danger to life” warning was issued ahead of more heavy rain and floods.
The Met Office had issued a rare amber warning with more downpours – on the back of recent floods – were due. The warning was in place for mid-Wales for yesterday and this morning, with yellow warnings also in place for north and south-west England.
But the Met said that, after the rain moves out to sea this morning, “very mild” conditions will take hold across the UK. BBC Weather has also forecasted temperatures to leap to 16C in some parts including London this afternoon.
