UK official coronavirus death toll rises by 77 as scientists fear second wave

As of 9am today, there have been 5,581,073 tests, with 142,123 tests on 6 June, according to the Department of Health A further 72 people, who tested positive for Covid-19, have died in England’s hospitals, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 31,780.
Scotland and Northern Ireland have recorded no new covid-19 related deaths. In Wales, five people died in hospital from coronavirus.
