They will be lowering house prices for first-time buyers and key workers by up to 30% in order to boost Britain’s housing market.Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick claimed that this overhaul of the planning system will accelerate housebuilding and “cut red tape but not standards”.He said that it usually takes seven years for local housing plans to be approved and five years to get building.The proposed changes hope to speed up the process.First revealed as part of the budget, plans for a first time buyers discount are expected to feature in the White Paper.

This will save buyers tens of thousands when getting on the property l adder. Plus, new “First Homes” tagged for the discount will stay at a low price for all future owners.
