There could be zero coronavirus deaths recorded daily by June, according to experts. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said there were around 400 daily deaths in England and Wales during May.
As it stands, there have been 35,341 deaths in the UK. But Professor Carl Heneghan, of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University, predicts we could be recording zero daily deaths in June.
