Weidman shattered his right tibia and fibula seconds into his rematch with Hall after attempting to throw the first strike of the bout.
Unaware of the damage he had done, Weidman then tried standing on his broken leg, which subsequently collapsed underneath him.
The fight was immediately stopped for the 36-year-old to receive treatment and he was eventually stretchered from the octagon.Weidman shared an update on Tuesday with three X-rays of the injury, one showing the break itself and two showing the post-surgery results.The former Middleweight Champion had his leg put back together by doctors using a metal rod,.
