Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder ’s trilogy showdown will go ahead later this year - but outside of the UK and America. That’s according to the Gypsy King’s Stateside promoter Bob Arum, who has revealed that two other countries are in the running to stage the pair’s third bout.

Fury dethroned Wilder in brutal fashion on February 22, ripping the WBC heavyweight title from his grasp in a one-sided beatdown at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas.

The American swiftly triggered his rematch clause, however, meaning he was poised for an immediate shot at redemption in July.

Of course, that scheduled date has now been scrapped as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Yet Arum still expects the trilogy fight to happen at some point this year, albeit on
