Tyson Fury has branded Anthony Joshua a “mug” after the former heavyweight champion said Deontay Wilder lacked a proper game plan against him.
Fury defeated Wilder for a second time in October to complete their trilogy in trilogy, securing victory with an 11th-round knockout following another dominant performance.
It was hoped that the win could open up a path for Fury to take on Joshua in a much-anticipated all-British title fight, but hopes were dashed when the latter lost his belts to Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua was thoroughly outclassed by the Ukrainian, and will have to take on a rematch next year in order to win back his titles.
