After releasing a mysterious “Side Street” clip on YouTube earlier this week and posting billboards in Los Angeles with the phrase “Call Me If You Get Lost” on them, Tyler, The Creator unleashed new music today.
The self-produced “LUMBERJACK” arrives with mixtape-style “Gangsta Grillz” shoutouts courtesy of DJ Drama. Although his last album, IGOR, primarily featured singing, “LUMBERJACK” is all raps.
Its title comes from the chorus, where Tyler spits: It’s been more than two years since the release of IGOR, his Grammy-winning sixth album.
Although Call Me If You Get Lost is not confirmed to be the title of his next album, the marketing indicates that he has a project on the way soon.
