Two teens charged in connection with Edinburgh chip shop blaze

Two teens have been charged in connection with a blaze which ripped through an Edinburgh chip shop in the early hours. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the fire on Southhouse Road in Edinburgh at around 2.37am on Monday November 1.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said six fire engines and a high-reach appliance had been dispatched to the area.

They added that 32 firefighters were called in to tackle the large-scale inferno.Two girls, both aged 16, have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
