Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's reign as Manchester United manager has been finally brought to an end following a recent run of miserable results.Humiliating defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City in recent weeks left the Norwegian's job hanging by a thread and Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Watford - United's fifth in their last seven league matches - proved to be in the final nail in the coffin.An emergency board meeting was called after the Watford game and Solskjaer was officially dismissed the next morning at United's Carrington training ground.The 48-year-old spent the next few hours saying goodbye to players, staff members and even some United supporters who had gathered outside the complex to show their support.
