Man City told eye-watering total cost of Erling Haaland transfer

Manchester City may have to spend a mind-blowing £265m (€315m) in order to sustain the transfer of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

That’s according to Sky Germany, who have estimated what a deal would cost when wages and agent fees are included, should a five-year contract be offered.

The Norwegian sensation is under the wing of football super agent Mino Raiola, who manages the likes of Paul Pogba and Italy goalkeeper Gianluiggi Donnarumma.

A £65m release clause in Haaland ’s contract will become active at the end of the season, something that City could easily afford.
