TUI cancels Greece holidays and flights

TUI has canceled holidays and flights to Greece. TUI announced they would be resuming holidays to eight destinations from July 11 following the coronavirus lockdown.

Brits were due to fly to Corfu, Crete, Kos and Rhodes from TUI’s three biggest UK airports, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.

But following reports that Greece has now extended its ban on flights from the UK until July 15 the UK's biggest tour operator has been forced to cancel holidays and flights.

A TUI customer tweeted the holiday firm asking: "Greece have extended the travel ban to the UK does that mean holidays will be cancelled?" A member of staff replied: "Hi Phoebe, we’ve been reviewing things to ensure we can still operate safe and enjoyable holidays, but,
