TUI has cancelled all flights and holidays to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands. The UK's biggest tour operator made the decision after the Foreign Office advised against all non-essential travel to the islands earlier this evening.
TUI had already axed all holidays to the Spain mainland up to August 9 due to the new quarantine rules which require all travellers returning to the UK to self-isolate for 14 days.
But it restarted flights to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands today - due to the lower rate of infection and the fact that Brits were told it was 'safe' to travel there by the FCO.
