Tributes have poured in for an East Lothian mum described as 'one of life's true treasures'. Devastated friends have flooded social media to pay their respects to Maureen Steele after cops found a body in Longniddry, at around 8pm, on Monday night.
The 46-year-old was reported missing from her Tranent home on Saturday and an urgent search was launched to find her. Maureen leaves behind partner Iain.Her family after been told of the discovery and are being kept informed by officers.Heartbroken friends described as a "lovely woman" with a "heart of gold" who was a "one of a kind loving soul" and always had a "big smile on her face".Suzanne Storrie said: "Absolutely devastated.
