A mountain biker has died after suffering a cardiac arrest while riding with a friend in the Peak District. The tragedy happened on the Causeway near Stanage Pole on Saturday (October 24), YorkshireLive reports.
An off-duty doctor and nurse were passing at the time and tried to save the casualty's life using CPR but were unable to do so.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance a Critical Care Paramedic, Yorkshire Ambulance Service staff and South Yorkshire Police, all responded along with Edale Mountain Rescue to the scene.
