After only four months in the job, Tottenham Hotspur have sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo. A 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday - a match dubbed 'El Sackico' due to the uncertain futures of both Nuno and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - proved to be the final straw for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Levy scuppered Manchester City's efforts to sign Harry Kane in the summer, with Pep Guardiola's side now looking like they could really do with an elite number nine.
However, maybe Levy is now warming to City; dismissing Santo will help them as well as Spurs. Sides coached by Nuno have been a pretty much constant thorn in Guardiola's side while he's been in charge of City.
