The total number of deaths across the UK since the coronavirus pandemic began has now topped 35,000. They have increased by 545 across hospitals and care homes - the largest increase in a week.
The latest death toll includes a seven-year-old in England, officials say. NHS England announced the tragic news earlier today.
Six of those who died in England had no known underlying health condition. Those victims were aged between 45 and 90. Environment Secretary George Eustice announced the total UK-wide death toll figures across all settings as he presented today's daily Downing Street coronavirus news conference this evening.
