Brian McDermott has called on Super League to make a “brave” decision over Toronto’s bid to return next season - despite admitting the Wolfpack have made a host of mistakes.
The Canadian club pulled out of this year’s competition just 13 days before the campaign’s August restart, citing crippling financial issues.
In an open letter McDermott concedes the club mismanaged its salary cap, failed to resolve visa issues and had strained relationships with the sport’s governing bodies.
