Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Families prioritise affordability, relaxation, and access to a pool when looking for a holiday, research has revealed.A survey of 2,000 adults, with children under 16, has uncovered what the UK is most looking forward to about holidays this year – and what they struggle with.Value for money and cost was the biggest consideration for holiday-goers (50%), followed by rest and relaxation (46%), and a pool (42%).But the variety of food on offer (also 42%) came ahead of being near the beach (40%).Other top priorities when it comes to booking a holiday include precise planning, immersion in local culture, and trips with extended friends and family.It also emerged 45% found the prospect of hunting for the perfect holiday exciting – but 31% think it’s frustrating.And the research, commissioned by Hilton, revealed 62% find it difficult to please everyone when finding the perfect family destination.It also emerged over three-quarters (77%) said simply spending time with family is the most important thing to them post-pandemic.And two-thirds (66%) have plans to book with extended family to make the most of time away.Patricia Page-Champion, senior vice president and global commercial director at Hilton, said: “There is a huge amount of pent-up demand for people to take much-needed breaks from their everyday lives to recharge, relax, and experience the world around them once again.“Inspired by our 2022 Trends Report, our findings illustrate how the events of the last two years have affected traveller preferences and passions.”The study also found almost half (49%) are planning to take longer breaks this year than pre-2020 – with 37% admitting they had not used their full annual leave allowance.Holidaymakers plan to spend an average.
