Tommy Robinson has been charged with common assault following an incident at a Center Parcs resort. The former English Defence League leader was arrested by police on Sunday afternoon after a man sustained an injury to his face.
Officers were called to the holiday park in Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire, at around 1pm to reports of an altercation between two men.
The injured man received first aid at the scene. Bedfordshire Police said Robinson, 37, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was due to appear at Luton Magistrates’ Court on April 2 and had been released on bail.
