Penny Lancaster makes 'surprise' appearance as she auctions off night with Sir Rod Stewart
Instagram earlier this evening to share her appearance at Care Of Police Officers Winter Ball last week.The Loose Women panellist posed with those involved as she opened up about her enjoyment of the event on social media.She even admitted Sir Rod Stewart got involved as well after donating a special gift for the auction.Posting in view of her 150,000 followers, Penny could be seen holding an auction gavel.She donned a gorgeous white dress for the occasion alongside understated jewellery.Alongside the snap, she wrote: “Such a humbling and special night, that I was very proud as their patron to be apart of!!” (sic)As well as this, Penny shared the post from the official UKCOPS account as well.This read: “A very special last-minute surprise (donated by Rod Stewart), from tv presenter and special constable Penny Lancaster has helped raise more than £30,000 for the charity.“COPS Winter Ball 2022, sponsored by police support service provider SSCL, took place at the National Memorial Arboretum last weekend.”On their official website, it was revealed what Sir Rod had donated to the cause.A post shared by Penny Lancaster (@penny.lancaster)During the black-tie event, Penny auctioned off the opportunity to meet the Maggie May singer.The lot also included going to see him perform in one of his shows later this year.Speaking about this, Penny said: “I’m really pleased the auction, including my surprise lot, went well and raised so much money.“COPS is a charity that is close to my heart, so it was an honour to help.”The Loose Women panellist has been a Special Constable since April last year.She has previously shared how she was inspired to join the force after taking part in the show Famous and Fighting Crime.However, Sir Rod has
